Sounding bells and singing choirs serenaded Riteñans, for the time has come for the celebration of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! For this, a nine-day celebration was done, from December 16-25, 2010, headed by Msgr. Gene Reyes, parish priest of Sta. Rita.
The parish was bright with lights as the parade of lanterns from the different barangays of Sta. Rita marched towards the church as the start of the Simbang Bengi on December 16, 2010 at 4 o’clock in the morning.

On 3 August 2010, 99 years after the major or largest bell (named Santa Rita) was installed in 1911, the church bells were brought down from the belfry to be restored. The parish, through Msgr. Gene Reyes, commissioned Royal Bells Philippines to do the necessary repairs.
